About the handmade process
All of Moody Monday’s products are designed and handcrafted in our studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Most of the assortment is hand-printed in the studio, such as our wallcoverings. The screen-printing process we prefer uses water-based, non-toxic inks and eco-pigment concentrates, which are kind to the environment. Colours are hand-mixed by our skilled hands in-house, making for a unique design for each one. In the case of the wallpapers, they are specially printed onto heavyweight PEFC-sourced paper ensuring durability pre- and post-installation.
Some of our other products may be digitally printed, as is the case with some of our cushions. In this case, they are still handcrafted. We take pride in our work, so expect attention to detail of the highest quality from all of our products.
Our designs has been exhibited at Somerset House, Southbank Centre, Earls Court and a number of places all over the UK.
Our designs has also been featured in a number of notable publications in the UK and globally, Homes and Gardens, London Evening Standard, Grand Designs Magazine – “editors choice”, The Scotsman, DETAIL, to name a few. An international trend forecasting magazine had also featured one of her wallpaper design – Black Keys, citing that it was a “nod to the 60s style Bridget Riley’s Op Art”.
We are one of the official suppliers to the Dulux Design Service and had supplied to a number of commercial clients.
