“Stellar is a luxurious, contemporary design collection inspired by the boundless beauty of the sky and space.”
Debuting at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in May 2016, our new collection ‘STELLAR’ is inspired by the boundless hidden beauty of the sky and space. This luxurious, contemporary collection of designs captures the dualistic nature of the skies with a colour palette evoking both dawn and dusk.
The ‘STELLAR’ collection consists of four wallpaper designs in varying colour ways, three fabric patterns, two cushion designs, four coasters and a set of matching fabric, coaster and placemat designs.
Moody Monday will be launching STELLAR at ICFF.

This time last week, we were down south in sunny England enjoying the sights and sounds of Syon Park. This was the chosen venue for Decorex International 2015 – the luxury design event of the year.
The design scene in London was buzzing last week. The London Design Festival kicked off with Decorex right at the start of the week from 20-23 September. The venue was filled to the brim with contemporary luxury furniture, lighting, wallpaper and a variety of home décor from a host of notable luxury brands. The four day event is the leading event for design professionals, interior designers, tradespeople and consumers to find out what’s trending and new on offer in the interior design industry.
Right there at Stand F17, Moody Monday was present with seven other talented designers specially selected by Design Nation. We were there to showcase a preview of the new designs we’ve been working on with our wallpaper and cushions (more to come on our official launch).

You might not have been able to catch this year’s event so we captured just a few snippets to share with you.
A couple of weeks ago we posted about the vibrant root vases we discovered thanks to Salone del Mobile in Milano. Today we’re looking at Patricia Urquiola’s work, also present in the Milano exhibition: and we were quite taken by her innovative approach!
Are you as intrigued as we were? Entitled SHIMMER, the collection comprises low tables, consoles and shelves in laminated and glued glass, characterized by a special iridescent multi-chromatic finish:
The nuance varies according to the angle of the light source and the vantage point, giving the reflected objects a magical and ethereal appearance:
We learned from Glas Italia that the collection items come in opaque or transparent glass, or transparent glass with a special micro dot decoration. We this this one in particular is hypnotically elegant:
What an exciting week for us, London and the world of design in general! As there are so much going on in London Design Festival, with various shows scattered all around the capital, one of them being 100% Design at Earls Court where we exhibited in our first trade show.
We’re now glad to be back too. Just in case you missed the show, here are some pictures for you:

We would like to thank the many intriguing individuals, professionals and businesses that we’ve met and have given us such great interests in our designs and most importantly, their invaluable feedback and support during our time on our first show at 100% Design.
